We always used to watch The Likely Lads and George & Mildred. In fact, sometimes I think me and Mr Bins are turning into George & Mildred....now that's rather scary...!

Oh I always used to envy The Liver Birds too. The idea of sharing a home with those that weren't my family strangely appealed (anything to get away from l'il sis!). Flat-sharing years later was nowhere near as much fun as The Liver Birds led me to believe it would be.....

OK pop-pickers - Top 10 sitcoms of the 70s.........

1. On The Buses (RIP Reg)
2. Love Thy Neighbour
3. Please Sir
4. Bless This House
5. Man About The House
6. Rising Damp
7. Mind Your Language
8. Open All Hours
9. Dads Army
10. Are You Being Served

Questions arising from the above.......

How did Jack (On The Buses) manage to pull all those attractive clippies - was it the teeth?

Did anyone actually get to see Mrs Slocombe's furry elephant?

Laters

David
